This is big news and I think good news for me. Going up against a sitting incumbent is a difficult task. This somewhat levels the playing field for all that want to run. I say ‘somewhat’ because there is still an entrenched political establishment that is going to want to have one of their own in this seat.

Whoever my opponents are I can say the following:

– I have always been a clean money candidate refusing money from developers and corporate PACs.

– I have represented the people of Fremont and stood up for their interests.

– I have the educational background in transportation and city planning to understand the problems the Bay Area faces.
